Abyssal Chronicles

In a world fractured by an ancient conflict, the reign of the Demon Lord, a figure of immense power, draws to a close. From her obsidian palace, she has repeatedly bested the world's strongest being, the Goddess, deliberately sparing her to prevent a cycle of rebirth and renewed attacks. Though the Demon Lord stands victorious over the injured Goddess, a burgeoning alliance of races, now empowered by advancements in fighting energy and mana, surges towards her stronghold. Recognizing the demons' overall vulnerability to this empowered human alliance, and aware of their intention to enslave her people, the Demon Lord prepares to sacrifice her own life. She casts a forbidden spell, an act that causes the advancing alliance to falter. The Goddess, recalling the Demon Lord's fierce dedication and respect for her people, offers an escape, but the Demon Lord, bound by duty, refuses. As the Demon Lord channels the spell, the Goddess readies her sword, and their final confrontation culminates in a cataclysmic explosion, signaling the end of the war and ushering in a new era. Both Demon Lord and Goddess become legends, their tales whispered through time.
