Kidnapped by aliens and unceremoniously deposited on an alien world inside a metal ball, Joe is stranded. The inhabitants of this planet cannot communicate with him, leaving him to decipher his surroundings. He must uncover his location, the identity of his captors, the reason for his expulsion, and the potential path back to Earth. A young man abruptly removed from his home finds himself on an uncharted journey, unaware of his purpose or his abductors. Joe grapples with survival amidst unfamiliar peoples and customs, his experiences proving educational. He, and many others, learn from their interactions. Through his immersion, Joe comprehends this world and its enigmatic forces, forging friendships and a new family. Though he faces potential ruin, he will ultimately rediscover himself. This is a very long and slow-burning narrative where resolutions unfold gradually.
