Sheng Yuan, a top-tier student dedicated to academic excellence, finds his life dramatically altered when he's transported to a parallel world overrun by delinquents. Forced to adapt to survive, he receives a system prompt urging him to become a formidable youth delinquent. Sheng Yuan, initially a model student, realizes surpassing the leader of the delinquent youths is his only path to safety, leading him to reluctantly embrace a life of delinquency. He strategically engages in rule-breaking, such as leaving class just before dismissal and spending nights in internet cafes, often to the confusion of others. Even social challenges are met with unique excuses, like a personal curfew. Sheng Yuan’s notoriety grows within delinquent circles, his "delinquency value" soaring. Remarkably, he even guides the delinquent leader toward a better path. He later encounters Yu Zuojin, a young man with a congenital hearing impairment who relies on a broken hearing aid. Under a lush tree, Sheng Yuan confesses his feelings, but Yu Zuojin rejects him. Undeterred, Sheng Yuan attempts to give Yu Zuojin money, which is refused, leading Sheng Yuan to claim it for himself.
