Desperate to escape her parents' home and salvage her social life during undergrad, Julianna "Juls" Macey eagerly accepts her friend Carlo's offer to move into a student apartment. However, the only available room is shared with Carlo's three friends: Kyle, Mark, and Kent. The situation is compounded by Kent's apparent animosity towards Juls. He deliberately creates messes in the kitchen and neglects his laundry, behaving as though she is invisible.
