Magical Soul Parade

In Arcanists, the magical world is structured by four distinct pathways: Elementals, Enhancers, Beast Tamers, and Artifact Nurturers. However, Finn, a former Earth university student, awakens in a new body on a forbidden path: that of a Soul Mage. Soul Mages are described as ultimate parasites. Lacking personal magical abilities, they instead absorb the mana-saturated souls of the deceased. This includes former Great Arcanists, Calamity Beasts, and Mythic Grade Spirit Artifacts, all reduced to chaotic souls awaiting assimilation. This power comes at a steep price. The innate wills and primal desires of these assimilated souls threaten to drive Soul Mages to madness, frenzy, and mania, leading to total corrosion. Thrust into this perilous new world, Finn becomes a Vessel already containing a full "Parade" of chaotic souls. His body is now a battleground, with these souls demanding immediate payment, accumulating Soul Debts that erode his senses, consciousness, and humanity. Paradoxically, this overwhelming corrosion also reveals the ultimate truth and unique essence of his own soul.
