Jin, a 24-year-old underachiever with a history of failed jobs, a high school sweetheart who left him for his best friend, and constant harassment from local thugs, finds his life in shambles. His father abandoned him and his mother for a life of wealth, leaving his mother to work multiple jobs to support them. One day, while bringing home the new fully immersive VRMMORPG, Realm of Myths and Legends (RML), Jin dies in a hit-and-run accident. The game, RML, promised real-world skills like swordsmanship and archery would translate into the game. However, Jin's death allows a soul from another realm, Izroth, the greatest cultivator in the seven realms, to transmigrate into his body, inheriting Jin's memories. Disoriented by modern Earth, Izroth laments his lost cultivation but discovers his soul is intact. Vowing to avenge Jin and fulfill his dream of becoming the number one player, Izroth embraces RML, intending to build the strongest guild and achieve unparalleled success in this new world of "video games." His journey promises action, adventure, betrayals, romance, and revenge.
