In 16th century India, the mighty Mahabaleshgarh empire crushes the smaller empire of Pratapgarh. The victory brings dire consequences for the women of the defeated nation, facing a fate of prostitution, rape, slavery, or death. Princess Abhishree of Pratapgarh lives this nightmare after losing the war. She awakens from a terrifying dream of capture only to hear the declaration of their defeat and the claiming of all Pratapgarh's possessions, including its people. Abhishree attempts to escape but is quickly apprehended. A captor identifies her as Princess Abhishree and states she is to be kept for the Prince. Another agrees, specifying she will serve solely as the Prince's prostitute.
