Cast into the pit at age five, he endures a life of rejection, his family regretting his existence and society unaware of him. Caught in a conspiracy, he is framed, tortured, and executed after a failed assassination attempt on Princess Seralyn. However, death is not the end. A soul from Earth descends into his body, rewriting his fate. Now aware of the betrayal, Zephyr awakens in a world ruled by Aether, where bloodlines dictate power. His clan, the Demios, who wield black flames, abandoned him as "Aetherless trash."
