The Gorgeous Siren

Steven, a mineral expert in Amanang province, and his cousin Robert, who often accompanied him in his search for pearls and gold, found themselves trapped when an earthquake buried them while they were excavating. Despite their despair, they managed to break through the soil to escape underground. Meanwhile, their worried parents, unable to find them, searched near a balite tree the next morning with no success. Continuing their efforts, Steven and Robert encountered a snake. Fearful, they expressed their predicament, regretting their pursuit of gold. Robert urged them to remain positive and fight. The snake, initially approaching menacingly and touching Steven's leg, changed its mind when it could not break the hard soil. It then pulled the soil with its mouth, offering assistance. Steven and Robert, explaining their need for gold to support their families, evoked sympathy from the snake, which continued to help them break through the earth. Motivated by the unexpected help and their own bravery, they, along with the snake, worked together. As dawn broke, they finally escaped from beneath the land.
