In the Western Pure Land, an old monk offers chicken soup and tales. The southern border of the Wilderness features a blind painter who commands colossal golden-armored puppets to create embroidered landscapes. From the north, an impoverished youth, witnessing a sky filled with thousands of Sword Kinesis Immortals, is inspired to seek out the scholar, the East Sea's tides, the western sands, and the southern mountains. Driven by this desire, he takes up a wooden sword and journeys south.
