Fate: I Just Want to Die and Sit on the Throne of Heroes

Upon transmigrating into the Type-Moon universe, the protagonist finds that the Root itself has acknowledged them. The path to ascending the Throne of Heroes and becoming its lord, a being surpassing even the Seven Grand Servants in power and freedom, is paved with an abnormal death. Driven by this goal, the protagonist embarks on a series of audacious acts across the Nasuverse, seeking their own demise. They openly defy Gilgamesh in Uruk, challenge Zeus in Greece, abduct Skadi in Northern Europe, declare Solomon a demon god in Israel, and stand with Morgan in Britain. Despite these provocations, they remain inexplicably alive. By 1994 in Fuyuki City, a litany of absurd titles has been bestowed: the third friend of the Most Ancient King, Mesopotamia's first prime minister, favored by Greek gods, the king of Northern European giants, an incarnation who awakened Solomon's humanity, and a miracle worker supported by Prince Camelot. Weary of their continued existence, the protagonist laments their failed attempts to die and achieve their destiny on the Throne of Heroes, a sentiment shared by Kiritsugu Emiya as he observes formidable figures from across history.
