In the world of cultivation, a transmigrated soul finds itself bound as a Spirit within a Soul Banner, refined by a demonic cultivator. Its sole ambition is to find a steadfast Banner Master capable of guiding it towards immortality. To achieve this, the Spirit dedicates itself to rigorous training, delving into cultivation techniques and mastering divine abilities. It diligently serves as a helpful "Grandpa Spirit," aiming to ensure its Banner Master's survival and eventual ascension. However, the unpredictable and perilous nature of the cultivation world makes survival a constant struggle. After a brief tenure with a new Banner Master who tragically met their end in battle, the Spirit is once again on the recruitment trail. It seeks a worthy successor, someone with the potential for immortality, but is met with reluctance from individuals appearing weak and idle, leading the Spirit to question if they merely seek to become its banner slave.
